I'll show you how to be fashionable!

Take perfectly fine, traditional styles. Make them so snug and the trousers so low rise that they bunch up and the line is ruined. Remember, the trousers must sit LOW. So low that about five inches of your shirt shows. It's like an arrow that points to your awesome physique.

This is a look appropriate for both funerals AND picking up chicks. ;)

If you're a movie star on the red carpet, do the same with any unassuming dinner suit. Don't wear a waist covering. In fact, wear a neck tie! Who cares that the bow tie is more formal and looks better? Extra buttons, vents, etc. are okay, so long as you wear them with the aforementioned neck tie.

BUT REALLY:

If you think this stuff is bad, you should see some of the things from the '60s and '70s that didn't stand the test of time. Personally, I think there's better inspiration on how to wear fitted suits and tuxedos in Mad Men. Additionally, the narrow lapel jet-set look didn't have to be very fitted to look good, as the early James Bond movies attest.
Fortunately, many movie stars are starting to go back to classic looks. Even if the cuts are slightly more modern, it's a good step in the right direction.
