Thank you, Heinz-Ulrich. I think it depends where you work. While the hotel I work is considered the higher end of the two-star rating, generally it's not a very conservative work environment. I wouldn't wear it as a junior lawyer though.
Thank you! Interesting, because I had the impression that the IBM salesmen wore solid black or dark charcoal suits with white shirts and black ties. (At least in the 1960s.) But you're right, at least in what they're associated with wearing.
