Timeless

I love the coats, shirts, and trousers in the club pictures here. Big thanks to "The Trad" for a wonderful post. I'm going to use those pictures as reference for how I want my suits to fit. You may notice an "extra" belt loop on the front of some of the trousers worn by the men in the tennis club. This was for keeping the buckle itself from riding up, and very few (if any) trousers have it anymore. More of an explanation here on Jack Newcastle's clothing website. On a side note, this confirms, yet again, that narrow cuffed trousers did NOT originate in the '50s or '60s. Fashion recycles itself, sometimes for good, sometimes for bad. Now, if only they'd recycle good fit these days...
